Within a few minutes, you can reach Krinaki, one of our favorite traditional restaurants, where you can enjoy authentic Greek and Santorinian dishes in a relaxed village atmosphere.
Finikia also offers wonderful places to eat within walking distance, including Canava Restaurant and Meze Meze — giving you several choices for a relaxed lunch or dinner without needing a car.
For groceries, drinks, fruit, snacks and everyday essentials, EMBA Mini Market is approximately a five-minute walk away.
Wine lovers can also walk to Domaine Sigalas Winery, approximately 1 km from Pink Freud Villas, for an opportunity to discover Santorini's celebrated wines and indigenous grape varieties surrounded by the island's vineyards.
Continue your walk through Finikia and you will discover traditional paths, cave houses and quiet corners of village life that many visitors to Santorini never experience.

Continue toward the iconic blue-domed churches and Oia Castle, one of the island's most famous sunset spots.

It is a wonderful choice for a romantic dinner or for celebrating something special — a birthday, anniversary, engagement, honeymoon or simply the pleasure of being together in Santorini.
Enjoy dinner and a glass of wine overlooking the caldera, watch the Santorini sky change colors, and then walk back toward the peace and privacy of your villa.
Walk Down to Ammoudi Bay
If you love walking, continue beyond Oia and make your way down to beautiful Ammoudi Bay, the tiny harbor tucked beneath Oia's dramatic cliffs.
Here you can sit beside the water, enjoy fresh seafood at one of the waterfront tavernas, watch the fishing boats come and go, or simply enjoy a completely different view of Santorini from sea level.
Ammoudi is also the departure point for many sailing experiences around the caldera — making it possible to walk from your villa through Finikia and Oia and continue all the way to the sea.
Just remember: the walk down is beautiful, but you'll need some energy for the climb back up!
